What we especially want to hear about.
Fraudulent conveyances, forged notarizations, fraudulent survey plats, or title companies that failed to catch severed mineral rights or recorded liens before closing.
Land being marketed and sold as subdivided "lots" without a recorded plat, county subdivision approval, or legally described access easements. Common in remote western states and the rural Southeast.
Parcels where as-surveyed acreage differs materially from listed acreage, boundary disputes between neighbors, or unsurveyed meander line conflicts with watercourses.
If you believe a published figure, legal claim, or state regulatory description on this site is inaccurate, please tell us. We take corrections seriously, update prominently, and credit you if you prefer.
