Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (property ID: G-L3QFNSYLP5) to understand how visitors use this site in aggregate. GA4 collects anonymized usage data including:

• Pages viewed and time on site
• Approximate geographic region (country/state level)
• Device type (desktop/mobile/tablet) and operating system
• Referring URL (where you came from)
• Browser type

We do not use GA4 to track individuals across other websites. We do not enable Google Signals or any cross-device tracking features. IP addresses are anonymized by GA4 before storage. We have configured GA4 with data retention set to 14 months.

If you contact us at editor@rawlandguide.com, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any marketing list. We do not share your contact information with third parties.

Third-Party Services

Beyond Google Analytics, this site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) and Material Symbols from Google. These requests may result in Google receiving your IP address and browser information as part of normal font delivery. Consult Google's privacy policy for details on how they handle font delivery request data.

Data Retention and Your Rights

The only personal data this site retains is GA4 analytics data (anonymized) retained for 14 months, and emails you send us (retained as needed to respond to your inquiry and then deleted). If you have questions about data we may hold, or wish to request deletion of any communication you have sent us, contact us at editor@rawlandguide.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy. When we do, we update the "Last Updated" date in the page header. Continued use of this site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We will not make material changes that expand data collection without providing notice.
